This article sets forth some key reflections derived from a study on the building of social meaning by forcefully-displaced elders living in Comuneros I, a neighborhood in the Distrito de Aguablanca, in Cali. The elders’ perceptions and feelings about the displacement phenomenon, as well as the social interaction processes they are immersed in are shared.
